Fitness Club Manager / Full Time / Gloucester

 

OUR CLIENTS PROFILE
Our client is a franchisee of a Fitness Club, operating within the 24/7 Fitness market in a number of locations spread geographically across the UK and are currently recruiting a Club Manager for its first site, which is due to open in September 2017. Being one of the world's largest and fastest growing 24/7 fitness franchise featuring professional, state-of-the-art fitness centres. The club currently has an estimated 2,000 locations operating worldwide. In addition to the UK, they also operates clubs in Australia, New Zealand, U.S., Canada, India and Mexico.
They will be providing state-of-the-art facilities, including top of the range cardio with up to 19” touch-screen FitTouch technology, Olympic lifting platforms, full range of functional free weights, 2 studios, Stages Flight indoor cycling, MyZone, Boditrax, the latest MX4 Group Training System, group fitness classes, personal training and loads more.

OPPORTUNITY
The Club Manager is the key role in the Fitness club, responsible for overall day to day management of all operations. Working closely with the Franchise Owner and Regional Manager. The position will have full accountability and authority over all operational aspects and management of staff, including sales, marketing and general administration

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Sales management - driving sales through local community and corporate outreach activities

  • Marketing management to drive membership growth

  • Management of Personal Trainers

  • Maintaining club standards (cleanliness, maintenance and health and safety)

  • Administration

  • Social media and club management reporting

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Skills & Requirements

  • Previous Sales & Management experience

  • Level 3 REPS Certification (preferred but not essential)

  • First Aid Certificate

  • Outstanding customer service and people skills

  • Excellent leadership skills

  • A proven ability to hit targets
