Our recruitment consultants have worked in the very Fashion industries we place for, Directory takes matching beyond the CV. We dedicate our time to our client exclusively as the selected partner to support with the brief, working within the agreed time frames to place the best talent in the market.                                                              

The more skilled and senior the role, the more sensitive our approach, bearing in mind they may not be actively looking at the time.  

The process aligns as a partnership built on trust and confidentiality between our client and our team. We act on our clients' behalf as a brand ambassador discreetly, so to ensure the opportunity is communicated professionally, allowing us to represent the company culture and image positively.

Each clients’ individual needs vary, keeping this in mind we adapt and adjust the tone of our approach accordingly.

The process involves:

  • A face-face / video client meeting to understand the brief
  • Carry out a local/global search as required
  • Approach talent to consider
  • Hold relevant interviews based on skills/human behaviour
  • Narrow down shortlist to present to our client
  • Client starts the interview process
  • Offer & placement completion
  • Maintain contact through to probation period

Throughout the process we maintain very close contact with our clients, updating with progress reports regularly. The relationship is a 'start to finish' journey both for us and our client.


This method of recruitment tends not to work on an exclusivity basis, as a client may consider their own HR resources as well as other agency partners to assist with sourcing the best talent pool.

We at Directory provide the same level of expertise and commitment towards supporting our client through this process, whilst at the same time working on multiple other projects.

The nature of the search process will mainly rely on our;

  • In-House Database search
  • Professional Network referrals
  • Job boards advertising

Although effective this type of search is potentially more suited for lower to mid-management level roles. We are able to consider a wider pool of candidates and consider a job advertising campaign also if necessary.

Throughout the process again we maintain close contact with our clients, updating with progress calls weekly. Our success is our clients' success so we aim to ensure we do our best.
